Default I own a truck again!

Hi everyone, my name is Kevin.
It's been 30 years since I owned my last truck, a 1978 F-100 base truck. Straight 6 with 3 speed on the column, vinyl seats, vinyl floor, and no radio or air conditioning. Sold it when I moved to a subdivision in Florida, but since I retired to South Carolina I have been in need of something to use for hauling. My wife didn't like me loading up her Toyota Matrix and my Dodge Charger wasn't able to haul anything in the trunk.
So I traded the Charger last month for a 2017 F-150XL with STX and XL packages and V-8 engine. It's a big difference from my last truck. I'm already loving it, and spending lots of time trying to figure out the Sync 3 abilities.
I'm also looking forward to getting a service manual and learning how to customize what I can.

Welcome! I bet hauling will be a much more enjoyable activity than it was loading everything into a Matrix. Post pics!

I've been looking for a service manual as well for my '17. Forscan mods should be simple enough to do without needing one, and there's good info on this forum about how to do it.

This is my new truck. Took the STX stickers off the bed. Trying to find what I can do with the front fender emblems and the big blue Ford ovals on the front and back. Maybe some flags or stars or lightning bolts.

This is the only one I've found so far that seems to be valid. Need to save some money to buy it though. Hahaha!
