Had a 2012 Lariat that got sold when I got married. Tracked down the second owner earlier this year to see if he would let me buy it back...long story short that didn’t work out but I did find out that the 3.5eco in it blew out the engine block at around 80k.

Fast forward to this week and I took delivery of a 16’ XLT Screw 3.5L eco. Was a Canada truck but was decently cared for.

First up is ditching these godawful dumbo mirrors.

Quick update. Found some switches and wiring yesterday that got me wondering if I could find the original owner. Did some poking around and Facebook searching and made contact with the original owner from Canada.
Turns out he custom ordered this truck and just traded it in on an 18 250 diesel.

Truck has a MBRP Intercooler pipe set and has the kicker subwoofer but I cannot get it to work.

Just added a pair of weather tech mud flaps that I got off a guy for $15 😬
