i ve been having issues w / my truck . paid at just answers , while o-k i still have same trouble.. thought the forum route may be of help. found through yahoo when plugged in my problem .

 

I'm using my friend's trailer w/ a 6 prong electrical plug and have a truck with the 7 prong receiver. I bought an adapter, but the breaks still locked up. My friend informed me that he switched 2 wires, one of them being the breake, to match the wiring on his truck but couldn't remember which 2. My father-in-law was trying to be helpful, but re-wired the 6 prong all wrong. I found this site while looking for diagrams and instructions on how to wire it properly to match my truck.

 

I was looking for a new starter for my F150 because the car is already a bit older but still in a very fine state and it got looks.
So your forum came up on Google and it is always handy to explain some specific problems when they apear to people who drive or drove te same kind of cars or models.
