How Did you Find Us?
Thanks for the greeting Lenn. I found this site looking for a solution to the troublesome sound in my new 2017 XLT 3.5 with 28K on the odometer. Only had the truck one week and this started up. Thanks to the useful posts on this site I believe I've found the fix. Just need to get the part and pop it in. Hope it works as advertised. In case your interested I'm quite certain it's the troublesome malfunctioning vacuum check valve causing partial engagement of the IWEs to the hubs due to lost vacuum. It makes a sound like someone was grinding rocks up underneath the front end. Sure enough -as recommended by another member post- switching to 4H makes the noise completely stop. This site will be my go to for all things F150 from here on. Will post my results after install of the new check valve. Fingers crossed.
