2003 F150 4.6 / I have a ticking under dash driver side. The ticking sound is what I hear when the abs is working during breaking. My battery has discharged over a two day of setting ideal. The ticking can be stopped by pressing the brake peddle. Starts at random weather truck is running or key off. What may be causing this.

Sold my Ranger w 243k miles. Bought F150 with 150K. Has a few issues. So do I at 64 yrs old. Im a tek guy, full of answers but don't know half the questions. I'm pretty smart feller, 'cause I know when to reach out and ask those SMARTER when my confidence level is low or zero. It has been said that I can fix anything, though I do go to a real mechanic when over my head.
