hi, i was doing research on a 1979 indy support truck i purchased.. i googled 1979 indy pace truck and your site came up, so i decided to join the club..ill be getting delivery of it in a week or so..very solid truck has a 302 in it which i personally think was fords best motor.i found it by accident..i was looking at a 1965 pontiac lemans 2 door as a project car and found the car needed 2 much work for what owner was asking..he then asked if i was interested in a truck so i said ill take a look at it.it was the indy race support truck..i said before i make an offer i want to do research on it because i never heard of such a truck. after confirming ford made them i decided to buy it..i may trade it in the future but at least i have it now. i live in upstate new york 5 miles north of lake george village..1 hour north of albany new york. thanx, glen
