Yea, I'm amazed that we come up as #2 on Yahoo for "F150 Forum" after just a few days. Must be because of the domain name.

Unhappy Thanx for the welcome Jon.

And thanx too for the good instructions on posting. I can tear down a engine, tranny, or rearend and put er bak together "PROPERLY," but I don't know if I'm computer numb or just plain computer dumb. My wife'll tell ya the latter, but ya can't believe her, she lies. Again, good instructions.
This is my 2nd 150, 1st was in 86, a Beautiful black 72 Ranger XLT, 360 10 mpg, auto, 2wd w/141k mi. Sold it with just under 200k, damned mistake. 2nd was 92, a clean, shiney paint 72 250 (XLT?) 360...10mpg, 4x4, xcept it had rolled down Mt St Helens sideways and end over end, abt 150k. It looked so bad i parked it at my buddy's ranch xcept for only a few overniters at home. Shuda kept it too. In Feb 1011 a shiney blue 88 158 Lariat 302 EFI (yoiks) auto, 2wd, 204k mi. It's a Illinois truck so there ain't any undercarriage bolts wat ain't rusted tite. It did run good...i rekon that's why i was lookin for a forum, it's the EFI, but I'll bet you knew that. But, in the mean time ax me bout replacin the water pump, oh yeah the gas tank too ( if ya do that always replace the fuel pump n filter, bout $80, cause if ya don't one er both'll break soon .) I drove it a lil' harder than the ol' farmer I got er from and the timin chain went n stretched after, of course, I did the water pump. At 70 yrs n half smart, w/204k, I shuda knowd it. well now w/ 209k, was goin up a perkin garage ramp n it began runnin real weakly. Din't trust ta drve it, reel smart, cause once home it would barely run above idle n it'll start for a few turns n die. I can keep er goin for awhile w/ether but barely above idle. I'll repeat this all in engines later cause I don't supose everbody's gonna check engines but one o them just mught read this long wind. I got good spark n at TDC, good compression, fuel press was low I thot, so replaced the FPR'r, now I got abov 40psi. I've been crawlin over that engine too much n mita upset somethin, but it's got me by the short hairs n I need hep. By the way, thanx for readin all this ****. griz

mine dint, but it's too much truble to drop the tank above
