Hi from southern MS
Hello from the deep south! I just bought a white 2017 F-150 XL supercab w/ 52k miles. This is the first Ford I've owned in almost 20 years. I had a 1999 Ranger extended cab back in 1999-2000. Nice little truck but terrible engine (3.0 v6). My F-150 thankfully has the 3.5l EcoBoost engine and 10 speed tranny.
Once upon a time I was a bass head, and a very amateur backyard mechanic, but I've mellowed out a bit with both. I do have some work to do on the truck. Namely Forscan, a towing hitch, Ford trailer brake controller, Ford remote start, tailgate shock, Monroe coilover shocks for the rear end, and new front door speakers. I really want to get a painted grille too, but that is further down the list.
I'm the IT manager for a company here in south MS, and I'm also the webhost for s-10crewcab.com (I owned one several years ago), and an amateur photographer. We also raise and show registered Brahman cattle.
On of our Brahman bulls. He just turned two, and weighs around 1800lbs. He will weigh over 2200lbs before he hits 30 months.

Sorry I missed the replies to this thread. Thanks for the welcome!
I don’t have much planned performance-wise other than a limited slip rear end, and probably an SCT X4 tuner. It seems like there’s not much return on a CAI or aftermarket exhaust. Plus I’m not a big fan of a loud v6.
I’m constantly on the lookout for cost effective ways to improve performance though.
