Default Hi, new from So Cal

Hi everyone, I've just have become a new F-150 owner and I'm pretty excited. I have been very blessed enough to make a good living but I am pretty tight with my money. Me and my wife have two younger daughters but we have just recently adopted my teenage nieces so we need a bigger vehicle so I bought a clean 2016 XLT Oxford white RWD 3.5 Ecoboost with 21K miles on it for $26,000. I believe it was a rental vehicle before and I thought it was a great deal. Anyhow it's pretty bare bones minimum and I am not a fan of the stock 16" wheels and chrome grill. I have just ordered the chrome Lund Summit Ridge running boards that me and a friend will install this week when they come in so that may get this truck looking a little better than bare bones stock. Anyway my question is what quick cheap mods can I do to make it look more than the regular work truck without breaking the bank? Keep in mind I like to keep the truck looking clean and not do a bunch of tacky mods but without the high roller price. For now I will live with the wheels but I am thinking of swapping out the stock chrome XL looking grill for possibly the Lariat grill. Let me know what you all think and thanks for any feedback!

There she is. She doesn't not have the fancy sport or chrome package but she's got potiential! 😁 I'm hoping my running boards come in today!

Great looking truck! We offer a plethora of tunes and engine performance products for the 3.5L F150 platform. If you are ever interested in anything of the sort, let us know and we can see what we can do for you. Otherwise, this forum is a fantastic place for information regarding these vehicles, enjoy!

Here they are. The running boards look great and they were easy to install on the factory hardware that was on the undercarriage. My only complaint is that I didnt notice that there was a broken corner piece and the manufacture (Lund) says that they won't ship me a new one. They shucked me off to the second party where I ordered them from realtruck.com and it's been five days and I haven't heard back Anyways hope you all like
