Hey there fellow Ford lovers

My name is Tony. I am a locksmith by trade and I hail from the great state of Alaska.
I have been driving my 1995 F150 XL since she was just 4 years old. Always reliable, she only ever seemed to break down at home (clutch, alternator, fuel pump, the normal stuff.). We crossed creeks together, got filthy, pulled out others, and been pulled out. We used to camp together, fish, haul wood, and just go for a drive. She did strand we one time, I think she wanted to go for a ride on a flatbed tow truck. After losing 5th gear a few months previous, we had reached the end. I got ahold of anther tranny, but it ended up having cracks, so she sat for a long time due to other financial priorities. I have moved her (driving with cracked trans) from home to home, but she has not been driven like she needs to be for a long time.
A few weeks ago I realized that that project I have been "going to do one day" needed doing yesterday.
From Googleing, I landed here about four weeks ago.
We are waiting for the new y-pipe to arrive so we can run the Magnaflow exhaust before we put the ZF up inside her. I am looking forward to that tranny for crawling the trails, creeks, and riverbeds. I do still need to find a shifter for the ZF.
I will keep you posted and edit this as needed.
Thanks to all who have already helped me from their previous responses to others.
If you have any vehicle lock, key, transponder chips, or other related questions, I would be glad to share my knowledge.

"Who are you and how did you get in here?"
"I'm a locksmith and I'm a locksmith"
