hello everyone i always look to this site for advice so i figured i would sign up for an account i will post a thread for diagnostic soon, i have a 2005 5.4 fx4 in lower michigan. It does have the tick but one day i stepped on it to pass on free way and it sputtered amd now it always does on mild to heavy acceleration like a pop pop pop spitting like crazy, it ies real smooth amd drives fine holding a normal speed but i cant begin to think of where to start, i have an aftermarket warranty since i bought it used but i have to do plugs myself ahead of time or they charge. So im kind of womdering what this would be or if anyone knows a shop in michigan that accepts Wynnes plus warranty. Ive always worked on my own vehicle but this truck has been a lemon so would like to use the warranty and do as little myself as possible unless its something i can just fix cheaply ill do it myself any advice is welcome amd appreciated! No check engine light has 5/20 synthetic fresh oil and new fuel filter im wondering if it could be cops or injecter valve phasers who knows vct is normally on idle so id just like to know what would cause this symptom thank you!!!!!!2
