Default Hello from Texas.

Hi guys, (figuratively), New to the forum. Been around the block a time or two, but always in a dodge. Still trying to get out of the driveway in my new2me white 2011 F150 4x4 XLT extracab 5.0 with 200k miles. Bought it off CL and was a one owner creampuff....that lasted 3 weeks. And then there is my 2004 F150 FX4 4x4 5.4 that at 158k miles has developed this odd timing issue. I also own a 2006 EB Expedition 4x2 5.4 with 146k that except for the sparkplug issue and the recurring and current Black Death in the a/c is the poster child for a perfect ford. Thank goodness for my 2001 Dakota 4x4 club cab 4.7 with 310k++ that has every squeak, rattle, crack in the dash, faded paint, etc that Dodge must be so proud of, but starts, runs, drives, freezes you, melts you, and gets you home. So I am here to make my stand and prove to myself my Fords will be better than the years of Mopar I have pounded the pavement and beaches and the backwoods with.
I am excited with all of the possibilities of what these trucks were and still can be!
Duh....
Male, 56, hetero, married 40+, owned my own shop but prefer the shade tree life. In and out of the oil field now. Live near the woods by the beach way south of H.Town. DG

Howdy! (sorry, couldn't resist)

My neighbor is very proud of his Ram 3500, I won't quote your comments to him. :-)

I've never gotten past the shade tree work, so you know a lot more than I do.
