Howdy from the TX Hill Country
Checking in.. Just traded my 2009 F450 for a 2013 F150 EB Super Crew. Downsized as we no longer haul the 17,000lb 5th wheel around. Still have it but just live in it.. got a 25' 6600lb toy hauler that the 150 will handle without too much effort. We usually haul my wife's Can Am Spyder and I ride my Victory to whatever rally, MC function we head to... as soon as I get a chock for the Victory to go in the hauler, the wife and I will trade off who hauls/rides.
The F450 was a brute that gave us ZERO problems in the 4 years and 48k miles we owned it pulling a 37ft, 17000lb 5th wheel around different parts of the country.. loved the truck but it was just overkill for the toy hauler.. plus unloaded it still only got 10-11mpg.. so it was time for a change.. basically I got the F150 for tax, title & license plus a few $$$$.
Time will tell if I made the right decision (hauling wise) since I won't have quite the spare capacity as I have been used to.. but I am up for the challenge if the F150 is...
Anyway, been reading this forum (and others) for info on the EB as well as doing my homework before I made the choice between the EB and other options (engines). Liked what I saw/read and felt during the test drive with the EB.. liked the flat torque curve..
See ya around the forums..

Glad you like your EB.
Love the Texas Hill Country. My Dad sold real estate from there from the '70's to the '90's. Unfortunately, I have to live in DFW to pay the bills, but I will return one day.
