Just wanted to say hello - I've been lurking for a while, but I finally registered for a profile so I can get a little more involved with the community. My truck is an 81 F150 Ranger XLT, SC/SB.
Originally a 2-owner California truck, gifted to me by my father-in-law (used to be his). Zero rust, anywhere. Rubber and plastic is all cracked and rotted, terrible Maaco paint job, but the straight 6 never lets me down. 4spd manual, manual windows, billet grille. All I've done is clean it up a little and add a clamp-on ladder rack so it's easier to haul the long stock I use a lot of in restoring my family's farmhouse. Looking forward to digging into some gentle restoration - interior, suspension, maybe paint down the road. Glad to be here!
