Default Hello ford lovers, waiting on my new f150

This Wednesday I should receive my black screw
4x4 6.5 3:31 with 20" wheels.
Need some advice on what type of tonneau cover
to get. A roll up or tri fold soft or hard.
Has anybody notice a difference in fuel consumption.

Default Welcome

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy that new ride. I don't have a bed cover myself but from what I read they don't really help gas mileage and may decrease mileage due to extra weight of the cover.

Welcome! Also no sure about fuel savings with cover. I did mine for the appearance. The soft ones allow you to use the whole bed if needed. Mine is really easy to roll up.

Welcome,
I have always had hard covers. I don't need to pile stuff high in the box of my truck. I JUST put an ARE hard cover on my 2013 F-150 Fx4 Super Crew this past Saturday. I love how they look. Keeps everything dry and clean inside the box and they are lockable. and just makes the truck look more..... rich in my opinion If I get a chance I'll post a pic this week

My truck is an '04 F-150 Screw (5.4L). Recently put a cover on it.

Without a tonneau, it got 13.5 mpg.

With tonneau, it went up to 14.3 mpg.

Enjoy that pickup.
