Brand new Ford F150 owner and I'm excited. I've actually been researching new trucks for the past 2 years, using this site a ton looking for real life consumer likes and dislikes. I've learned a massive amount of information, but it helped to make my decision.
So I've finally come to the point of buying a new truck. Checked out some dealers in the area and saw some very nice trucks. But I just couldn't find one with everything that I like...there was always one or two options that I didn't care for, or the color was right, or the configuration wasn't what I wanted. I finally decided to order one. I figure if I'm going to spend this kind of money on a new truck, I might as well get want I want, and in the color that I want.
Went to the dealer and ordered on 4/26/16 and got the call 5/30 that it arrived....just about 4 weeks and what the dealer told me when I ordered it. Well, I just come home with a brand new truck today!
2016 Ford F150 XLT, 5.5' bed, 3.5L Eco, 302A package, max tow, moonroof, in Bronze Fire.
Just wanted to introduce myself and thank everyone for their advise over the past couple years. Sorry, but I'm not an impulsive buyer and tend to overdue it on the research. I can't believe I've been researching for the past 2 years, but I'm finally done. And although you can't see it very well, but that's my boat in the background that I'll be towing.
