Hi, I just joined up and wanted to say hi.
I just picked up a 2014 Crew 3.5 ecoboost FX2 short bed and have to say I love it so far. I got rid of an extended cab standard bed 2008 F-150 with the 4.6L and never really liked it. Granted, it being silver didn't help. My new one is dark grey with black leather and I've always loved that color, since they introduced Dark Shadow Grey ~2003 (at least for Mustangs)...the earlier Mineral Grey color wasn't quite as good.
Before that, around 2010, I had a 1999 extended cab standard bed 4.6l in real. She was ugly as sin but as my first truck I really liked her. Cheap AR wheels, a solid tonneau cover with a rubber bed mat, and the word b***h keyed into the side (from the prior owner) that I threw a Hawk sticker over. LOL
Anyway, I'm a Ford guy for sure. I also have a Redfire 2004 Cobra convertible that I got in 2005. I also got my (now ex) girlfriend out of a Honda and into a 2.0 Ecoboost Escape. I liked it so much I almost bought one instead of this truck, but as a DIY homeowner I really didn't want the hassle of a trailer to be able to buy lumber and such.
