Question Hello! Help a new truck guy pull the trigger

Hey Ya'll! Greetings South Carolina.

After owning Honda sedans and SUVs for the past 15+ years, I'm about to purchase my first full size truck (last truck was a Chevy S10 when I was a teen). Been researching and analyzing and shopping for a few months (classic paralysis by analysis) and after almost going Chevy, then almost going Ram, I think I've finally settled on Ford. It's clear all trucks have their issues, but I feel like F150s have the best Odds of being a good, solid, reliable all around pickup.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2020 F150 2.7L XLT Sport with 18k miles. For a 3 year old Truck, 18k miles seems crazy low...am I missing something? The carfax looks good from what I can tell. Wondering if there's anything I should be wary of or look out for in your infinite internet wisdom before I pull the trigger? Should I be worried about transmission issues? Or anything else? Any test drive and inspection tips?

Also, this trim has what I call the "mustache" grill. I really would prefer the STX honey comb grill (everyone wants to charge an extra 4k+ for an XLT with that grill!!). Any advice on finding an OEM or identical aftermarket one to replace it?

Lastly, also considering a 2021 STX... Is there anything that much better about a 2021 that I should step up to that generation instead of the 2020?

Thanks!
