New to this site a lot of great posts and info

Plan on purchasing my first F150 next couple weeks, torn between FX4, Platinum, and King Ranch open to suggestions.

welcome! and it all depends on what features are most important to you...also which of the stylings catch your eye the best...i myself love the fx4 either way they are all great trucks!

out of those 3, I'd suggest FX4-platinum is too luxury for my style. I love the king ranch's interior though....hope you find yourself a nice truck

 

Welcome. Most of the upgrades are badging. The King Ranch is a Lariat for about $3000 more. The Platinum is a Lariat plus power deploying running boards for about $4000 more. You can get the same options in a Lariat and save money. The King Ranch leather is awesome, must be careful of any liquids spilled on leather and use leather conditioner a few times a year.
