Happy new F150 owner
Hey everybody. A couple of weeks ago I bought a new F150, my first 1/2 ton truck. It's a lightning blue '17 XLT screw 4x4 3.5 EB with the sport appearance package. I bought it to be a tow vehicle because my wife and I decided to get a travel trailer and we didn't have anything up for the job. I really love the truck, I'm thrilled with it. This is after I purchased a '17 Tundra a couple of months ago then realized it was not going to cut it as a tow vehicle, so I hung my head in shame and traded it in. I told the story in a little more detail for my first post, but it didn't get approved for some reason so I'll just leave it at this. Later!

Congrats
I own a 15 F150 SuperCrew Lariat and it's my 2nd Ford Truck; 1st being an 02 F150 SCrew Lariat.
Did you consider selling your Tundra, instead of trading? You'd made a few grand more but yeah you have to go through the process of actually selling it

In this case I was actually way better off trading in the Tundra believe it or not. Trading allowed me to save over 3 grand in sales tax, plus there was a $2250 trade-in rebate. So I gained nearly $5500 doing it that way. Had to fight them hard but I did pretty well on the trade in value as well.

You Just Taught the Teacher:)
My first Ford truck was a 96 Ranger and I had an '11 Fusion Sport for nearly 7 years. I had just gone through the process of selling the Fusion myself, when I bought the Tundra, and I didn't really want to do it again right away lol.
