Hey everybody i've lurked for quite a while and this place has been invaluable so a thank you to everybody that contributes.

well I am Jer and I'm from Jersey. about 3 1/2 yrs ago I managed to blow the engine on my 02 subie wrx and was stuck for transportation and really short on funds. I managed to pick up(hehe) a beater 1988 f150 xl w/ 302 2wd reg cab longbed w milage unkown and barley any paint for 500 bucks. it was the best 500 ever spent. It always started and was my daily driver after i replaced front rotors and calipers, a rebuilt alternator, wiper motor from a scrapyard and a heart throb exhaust. so all in for about one grand total of a grand and a little blood sweat n tears. this place made it possible so again THANKS..

So this week I got an awesome cash deal on, and I became the proud new owner of, a 2003 F150 5.4 4wd King Ranch Super Crew cab. Loaded except for sunroof.
no rust anywhere, leather in beautiful cond.

I FREEKIN LOVE IT!!!! the only cons are the paint is crazed a bit, passenger cupholder mechanism not working, and the climate control would only blow Defrost. Thanks to this place I found it was only an o-ring in one of the vac switches in the unit and its already fixed in 30 min at no cost I had a coupla friends in truck and one said "man this thing sounds good!! It sounds like all your truck wants to do is just eat all the road in front of it!!"

Thanks guys! 1 am and insomnia getting the best of me. made the rounds and did a little shopping today. went to harbor freight to put together an inexpensive set of tools, pliers, wrenches, lil socket, set, tool bag, just to keep in the truck. also hit a local pawn shop and picked up a sony explode 500w 4 channel amp super cheap, walmart for 4 new door speakers Pioneer TS-A6885R 6" x 8" 4-Way 350W Speakers. and the new head unit is a Sony WX-GT90BT which will be hooked up to my sirius/xm tuner. skipping the sub for now but I do have a big old Memphis amp and some nice 10's out in the garage somewhere if I get the urge, but I'm not looking for any kind of monster thumping, just the big increase in quality one can get simply from a new head unit and a 4channel amp powering the doors. I'll try to post my install and review in the appropriate section
