I've been looking for a truck for over a month....
Have had 6 Dodges and one GMC.....
My first Dodge was actually a van in highschool it was a 1976 Sportsman and 2 years old when I got it. (It was highly unusual for a girl to have a van let alone a truck)
The other Dodges were all pickups or Ramchargers.. the old REAL truck style
The GMC was a 3/4 ton crewcab.... which I totally enjoyed the size of the cab for my hunting dogs, but hated the fuel and hard ride.
So this is my first Ford.
You all helped me choose.
Thanks for your help in the background, I ended up with a 2009 F150 Super Cab XLT 5 1/2' bed. My trucks have all been Red, but this one is Black...something I'm getting teased about greatly.
I'm continuing to decide on
a tonneau cover non fabric for security (I like being able to see out the back without the problems at night and rainy weather with multiple windows of a cap)
or a cap yet again... (always had caps on the trucks, they are so handy with muddy dogs, hunting clothes to change when it is raining, keeping stuff locked and dry...)
