Hello all! I've been driving diesel's for 15 years and just switched back to a 2012 5.0L truck on Monday. I considered and drove the ecoboost and decided against it for several reasons. First it is new and their seems to be some growing pains which comes with anything new. Second I'm a bit old fashioned and believe there is no replacement for displacement. Thanks

welcome i too came from diesel land and i really miss havimg a diesel. my truck is really nice but i miss the power and the smell of having a diesel.

Thanks fellas!! Believe me I already miss the power of the diesel but mostly the low end aka TORQUE. I definitely see a power adder in the future. The thought off adding a power adder was in my head and my deciding factor when choosing the 5.0.
