Default First time Ford owner in MA

Hello, picked up my truck last Wednesday, it is a 2018 F-150 XLT screw 4x4 w/ sport appearance pkg in Oxford white. In less than a week I've put nearly 400 miles on the truck, can't believe how nice it rides and how quiet it is. Opted for the 5.0 over either ecoboost option for the extra payload, and has 3.31 rear end. I was originally looking for a truck with either the 3.55 or 3.73 gears but once i drove this truck with the new 10 speed transmission I felt it wasn't necessary. I had previously test driven a 2017 with the 5.0 and 3.31, with the 6 speed, and was not as happy with the performance.

So far I'm very happy with my purchase, love the sunroof and the sport pkg 20" wheels. Impressed with the combination of the v8 with the 10 speed, and actually so far I really like the cloth seats even though I was originally thinking I would do a Katzkin leather interior. Thus far all I've done is replace the factory Ford floor liners with a set of Weathertechs. I've got an appt. for Friday to have full hood, bumper, grille, and fenders wrapped with xpel after I get a chance to do a fine polish and am doing suntek carbon window tint to the front windows.

Here are a couple of pics I got the day I picked it up, it was getting dark and the next day we had a blizzard so it's been dirty since. I'll post some more once I get to clean it and have windows tinted.

Got to give the truck its first good cleaning today, amazing how nasty the paint gets in a week of driving on salty roads.

Paint already had contamination, you can see the purple streaks where the fallout remover was going to work, making paint nice and clean before she gets xpel tomorrow.

All cleaned up. Paint given a light polish and sealed areas that aren't being wrapped. Can't wait to see it with the windows done.
