Default newb from cen tx

well ive been subscribed on here for a while but never introduced myself. im an active member on dfwminis.com. but im looking for a site to fit the needs for more along my kind of truck. i drive a 2008 f-150 supercrew, it has 22" wheels and 2" lowering shackles to level it out w/ the frontend. i'm in the process of getting a 3/5 lowering kit w/ controlarms up front. w/ the truck weight i believe it comes to a 4/6, dont quote me on that though, not positive. im am in the retirement process w/ the army and am looking to bag and possibly bodydrop w/ nfamus kustoms in mansfield, tx. keith (the owner) is in my openion the best custom truck builder of our era. heres a pic of my baby, let me know what u think.

the 1st pic is before the 2" shackles in the rear.

Default ?????

ive also been looking into the 2/4 saleen kit w/ the springs and swea bar. this whole kit is bilsteen and is yellow and blue. i know it should be a better ride and have better cornering, etc. i found the used kit for $700.00, but the 3/5 kit NEW w/ DJM control arms and shocks is $512. i only have the 4.6 w/ the airraid intake, its for the 5.4, but i maudified it to fit the throttle body on my 4.6 cause 4.6 parts are hard to find and when u do it seems like they r more expensive, dont know may just be me. i have also found the saleen exhaust that exits in front of the rear tires for $400 new, and it says it will fit the 4.6 or 5.4, which i will need when the truck is bagged unless i just modify the stock. sorry for all the ?'s. these are just some of the things turning in this head of mine.

Nice truck. Looks dang good. It's hard to tell if it's leveled in the last picture with it darkness. But looks good.

There's a lowered sub-section in the aftermarket section of the forum you could ask the questions about lowering.

Your Q. about the exhaust.. I'd say buy the muffler you want and the tips and have a exhaust shop custom 1 up for you. Then you don't have to worry about it not fitting.
