Hey everyone,I'm new on here,I have a 2003 f-150 xlt lariat supercrew 4×4,with a 5.4 2v engine. I am wanting to swap it out for a 3.5 ecoboost,what all do I need to have or get? This is jus in the preliminary stages yet.

Yeah you're probably looking at at least $2000 in engine controls, not even including the cost of the engine

Isn't the 09-15 framerails wider than my truck? What would I need to convert to the electronics on my 03?

So all I would need is the controls pak?

And a manual transmission, and compatible dash gauges... most of your electronics currently in the truck will no longer work... say good bye to your OBDII system and hello to a lot of metalwork to mount the engine properly... unless you already have a hookup on an engine, you're looking at easily over $10,000 including engine and electronics to run it

yeah. someone did a raptor entire body swap onto eco boost, cause it was cheaper than buying an ecoboost motor and swapping it into the raptor.
