Been looking to upgrade my truck for about 8 weeks, and if you would've asked me back then if I'd consider a V6 I would've laughed at you. I traded an '05 Silverado Z71 Extended Cab with 186k on my Ford.

I was initially looking for a '15 Chevy with about 35-50k on it and realized I could buy the Ford new for the same price.

Wife's friend's husband has a King Ranch w 3.5 EB, and I took that for a 35-40 minute drive with him, totally impressed with the ride characteristics of the truck.

Test drove the 2.7 EB and found it to be as fast as my chevy was with the H.O. aluminum block 5.3L

Intrigued with the aluminum body for better corrosion resistance and lighter weight, impressed with the power of the 2.7EB, and find Sync3 to be well thought out. I have 645 miles on it, and will be towing a 5500lbs boat and trailer this weekend about 180 miles. Trying to get closer to the 1000 mile mark before then.

Lots of good reading here, and thinking about the Raptor steering mod that BoostedGreyGoose had worked on.

Really like the new F150, no disappointments so far.
