Brand New Owner
The best thing that I can start off by saying is that my name is Jonathan and I purchased my brand new 2012 Ford F-150 Lariat 2WD about 2 weeks ago. I have to admit that I am extremely pleased with the purchase and that 5.0 sounds AWESOME!
My previous truck was a 2004 Ford F-150 with the 4.6 and let's just say that I currently enjoy driving that 5.0 a lot more down the highway!
The only things that I guess kind of bother me right now is just that this is the very first truck that I have had which was brand new and never owned. I guess with it being that way I kind of just freak out on small stuff. I thought the engine sounded funny to me a few days after getting it, but then I put about 650 miles on it and now it sounds like I giant tiger enjoying a belly rub!
One other thing that has bothered me is the tent somehow got scratched or messed up. I know that this wasn't at the dealer as I inspected all of it before leaving, but noticed a few days ago the tint was messed up on the passenger side of the truck. This isn't a big thing, but I plan on getting it fixed pretty soon either through the dealer if cheap enough or I'll go to another place.
There isn't much else for me to really say in this introduction, but I can say that I am very happy with my purchase and I love Ford! I have owned 4 Ford trucks in my lifetime and I have never had any problems. I hope that streak continues and that this new truck is in my family for many years to come!

Thanks! I definitely love the truck so far and the engine is just AWESOME going down the road. The only thing that has bothered me a little bit is the MPG, but I don't drive like a grandpa either, so I kind of understand why it might not be so high up on the scale.
