It should be a switch that doesn't reset after starting. Just like your wipers. If you left them on, when you restart they're on still.
...but for the auto stop/start it would be off when I restart lol.

I hate that damn thing and wish I didnt have to always hit the button.

In bumper to bumper / stop and go traffic it sucks. Normal daily driving thus far still a non-issue. I am curious to see how much gas it actually saves. Anyone know of a study published on this?

I believe you can disable it thru Forscan ......

I have it on 2 vehicles now, I do not have a problem with it, but as others have mentioned, in the summer the cooling suffers at times.

I think I'm in agreement with SolarGuy on this. Seems like it should be a switch or option in the user menu to turn off. Kind of ridiculous to have to use Forscan if you don't want it on all the time.

I just put a jumper in the connector for that switch today. Works nice, I don’t have to hit that switch at all now!
