New to forum obviously. I'm really not a highly skilled mechanic, but have always done as much of my own vehicle work as possible. But I still don't have the depth of experience needed to figure out some of the diagnostics needed on "newer" vehicles (I.E. Post carb with ECU kind of stuff) Based in central N.C. My current project isn't even my truck. It's a 1987 F-150, with the 302, and fuel injection, and all the bells and whistles available that year. Bought by an uncle of mine new that year, it has ended up in my mothers hands. Though it's been sitting for awhile now, I actually drove this truck back in highschool, and loved it then. Now that my mom is wanting to try to get it back in running shape, I've made it my responsibility to get it going right. (After all, if she ever tries to get rid of it, *I* want it! ) Vehicle's I've owned and wrenched on. -1964 Ford Falcon Sedan (In middle of restoration now) -1966 Ford Falcon Van (Occasional driver/mild restoration project.) -1982 Ford Thunderbird (found it abandoned, and put it back to together for $600. Sold it for $1200 to a guy who promptly ran over a homeless man while high on coke, and totaled it during the resultant police chase. The car did not deserve that fate.) -1996 Saturn SL (Boring, but actually a d*** fine car. Last I heard it was still running well for the new owner. With 300K+ miles on the original clutch.) 1993 Ford Ranger (Current daily driver) 2006 Honda Shadow VLX (Back up daily driver)

Greetings Tom,
Welcome to the forum from a relatively new guy to Fords and the forum.
I had a Tacoma totaled while stopped at a redlight by an uninsured motorist, so had to find a new truck. 2016 Lariat 2.7 Ecoboost that I fell in love with.
I was in Raleigh/Durham for about a month recently and the humidity nearly killed me.
Glad to be back in the desert.
Again welcome.
