For years I've put off buying a truck because I've had other expenses(mainly school) that made getting one less than wise. Anyways, now Im ready to start some serious looking. I'd be lying if I said I were anything but a complete novice when it comes to selecting the what the best engine/transmission combo would be best suited for my needs which is why I decided to join this forum. Before I get into detail about that could someone point me in the right direction as to what section I should post such questions.

how old of a truck you want? there are sections for each generation (I.E. '97-'03s have their section, '04-'08s thave theirs...) select which one you're interested in, and that'd probably be the best place to post a thread looking for help. if you want a new or almost new truck, 2011+ have a forum section just for engines...if you're not too sure, there is a general section that covers all F-150s, you could try that...hope that helps
