Yeah, my yard gets pretty muddy when it rains lol.. But i hunt and fish alot so i need it. Also live on a farm so the 4x4 is nice.. And yeah, I am in the Army and know what it feels like to have money taken from you... Two times when i was in Afganistan I either wasnt supposed to get paid or was going to get a half paycheck.. Well right before payday they worked it out where we could get paid..

We make nothing compared to what the big wigs in the house make. So i dont know why they cant give up a Gucci Purse or something that is expensive for no reason.

Yeah I understand, I work with a couple of guys that won't look at a vehicle if it isn't 4x4...

I live out in the country so to speak but I don't do anything that takes me off road much.

Yeah I got ya, I can totally relate. I work in local government and we've had to give up all kinds of stuff over the last 3 years... They claim the budget is terrible and cut our pay 5%, then laid off lower seniority people, then raised our cost on our insurance benefits by 9% and now are talking again about laying off more people. In the meantime they are doing nothing to reduce spending on frivolous projects and services. I mean it's really appalling at times. They just spent close to a million dollars to build a place for our dogs to ****. It's literally a dog park like a Hilton... Total waste of money when they are already claiming to be broke...

I have had both 2wd and 4x4 in my Ram's and I found I rarely if ever use the 4x4. When I had my 2002 Ram, I never used the 4x4 one time in the 5 years I owned it. So for me it is a waste to have all those extra moving parts consuming fuel all the time. But that is just my preference.

I have a boat and I've found just having the LSD is enough for me get the boat in and out. Other then that the furthest I go off road is parking on the grass in my front yard lol.

Yeah, Chrysler really put a sour taste in my mouth when they took the govt. money.. I feel that no government agency should ever get involved in the private sector in that manner.... I mean, if I was loosing everything or going bankrupt would they come running to hand me cash, hell no, so why should the auto makers get that privilege. Don't get me started lol, I have some pretty stern opinions on some of the dumb things that's happened since Bush left office. As a country we're "broke" because we've given too much money away for very little in return.
Yea I agree with being upset with taking the bailout money!!!! I have been a GM guy for YEARS and I switched back to ford 2 years ago. Now I own 3 trucks. A F350 2 F150s. I've been really pleased!!!
