Welcome the main reason for air not working [assuming the fan is working] is loss of refrigerant or a loose or broken wire to the compresser clutch. since the newer systems are computer controled if its not obvious to see check all fuses and then you pretty much have to have it diagnosed by a dealer or AC shop

I just reread your post if you are talking #1 fan speed then its probabley the fan speed resister or the switch.
