96 Ford 150 5 speed starting issues

I purchased my 96 Ford F150 Brand new,its well cared for and now has over 260.000 sweet miles on it,still runs great! Best Vehicle I ever owned

I had a new Battery a year ago a new Started Aug of 2014 and finally a new clutch replacing the original Clutch when new in Aug of 2014

As of the last two weeks I'm having problems starting truck .I turned Key over and lights on dash on .No clicking no lights dimming etc
These Trucks with Clutches if in gear of course you have to engage clutch to start ,so the first time this happened I took it out of gear and it started right up.Turned it off then put it in gear clutch in and it started right up
and so on ,it goes like this ,if I make sure I have the clutch in down hard to floor it starts ..Some one told me there is a swtich or something on or Clutch pedal under dash and it could be what is wrong? I don't know and I don't work on them at all anymore battery cables all checked and good
is there a swtich of some kind on or near Pedal cause I am thinking if so that is the problem ..The Garage who put clutch in was a two man show and one [the mechanic ] has left the owner knows little about such things ..any clues ?
I miss driving my truck and actually need it as I have a 2002 Grand Marquis [second owner ] well cared for with 130.000 miles but need a vehicle at all times living alone and driving to Ohio State every 28 days for cancer treatment I live in Cincinnati
Thanks to all who can't help and please give estimate of cost if you have a reason for this issues

The Shuttler Bear OHIO LUCK!!!
living longer to make your day or someone's smile
