I'm not sure I follow... You can't dual straight with the factory resonator because it's an si/so...

Ah gotcha. I haven't seen someone do it yet, but that's not to say it hasn't been done. It'll be crazy loud though I'm sure. My 5.4 sure was after I did that, and the 5.0 is significantly louder than the 5.4 was. I'm not sure where video of my 5.4 went, but it was sweet. 2.5" straights from the cats to 2 12" Cherry Bomb glass packs, then necked down to 2" pipe and straight out the back. There wasn't any crossover, I LOVED it. Debated doing it to my '16, but didn't want to be full on obnoxious with it. I'm kicking around the idea of an electronic exhaust cutout though to get my loud exhaust fix. I did a muffler swap on it with a 12" cherry bomb glass pack, it's got growl, and doesn't drone.

It has a MBRP single exit exhaust but it sounds like a factory exhaust, you can’t tell I changed it out

That sucks! I'm content with my setup now.

Is your kit welded or bolted? If it's bolted, pull the muffler off and start her up. Should only take like 20 minutes with some basic tools
