315/70/r17 on 2016 F 150 SCREW 4x4 2.5" level
Hey All!
First time poster, long time viewer.
I know there are SEVERAL posts about this, (please don't kill me) but I was looking at throwing some LT315/70/r17 C BFG KO2s under my F 150 (Sport package/3.55 gears). I will be driving in Florida for parts of the year, and Southwest Colorado (A town called Creede in the Rio Grande Natl Forest if anyone's familiar) the other parts. Creede has several hairy trails to get to fishing spots, and with this season getting so much snow, there will probably be a ton of mud. We typically take my dad's Rubicon up to these spots, but that thing breaks constantly. Not going to be going mudding, but will be taking quite a few rough trails with steep switchbacks.
I have done quite a few hours of research, and I have found a wealth of extremely helpful information regarding the topic, but I wanted to see if I could get a bit more information for the specific setup I'm going for very soon. I will be purchasing the Mammoth 2.5" level. I've read a lot of great things, and it seems to be constantly ranked as one of the better levels. Also, I'm aware of the crash bars, but I'd prefer not to remove them, so I'm going with a +34 offset XD Holeshot wheel. I narrowed my options down, and it was hard to find a wheel I liked with these reqs, but I actually really dig this wheel, and the higher offset should make it exactly inline with Raptor 17s. I will be finishing with BFG KO2s. I like this tire; reliable, aggressive tread pattern for a/t, and 50k treadware warranty. The tires and rims are fairly light considering the size. I will be using C rated tires since I don't think I'll ever be towing anything and I don't need the extra ply rating.
Will this setup be manageable with the 2.5" level? I've seen a lot of people throwing Raptor 17s and 315/70/r17 on their leveled f 150s. Trying to just get close to those specs!
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
