2019 F150 Screw Stx/Fx4 w/2.7 Ecoboost
Hello everyone,
I recently just purchased a 2019 Ford F150 Screw Cab Stx with the FX4 and Tow package. I came out of a 2007 Honda Ridgeline that I enjoyed for many years and with only 600 miles on my new ride, I am really impressed with this Truck along with its 2.7 Eco Power Plant. My wife has the 3.5 Eco Beast in her Explorer Sport but I can tell you this, the throttle response of the 2.7 in my opinion is quicker down low. Put it in 'Sport Mode" and its actually a fun experience with a lot of guts !!! I am also satisfied with the current fuel mileage I am getting and will probably only get better. I dont have what you call a lead foot but im not realy gentle on the pedal either, 18mpg around town and averaged 22 mpg on a 400 mile round trip recently.
I have not hitched it to my 5,000 lb boat/motor/trailer yet, however I have no doubt it will tow it with ease.
looking forward to reading on this Forum !!
