Default 2010 f150 supercrew with rear end vibration

I just got my 2010 f150 4.6 4x4 and it has a vibration coming from the rear end or transmission. I noticed it at about 45 mph and feathered the gas. But really noticed it when I pulled the snowmobile trailer home from upnorth. I talked to the service manager at my dealer and he told me that Ford was aware of this issue and was working on it. This was before I pulled the trailer home and now the vibration is worse! Anyone else having this issue? my truck only has 1,200 miles now

Default Rear end vibration

My 2010 F150 Lariat has the same problem. I bought my first F150 in 1995 and have owned nothing but f150's ever since. I bought mine three weeks ago and have 1000 miles. I've had it to two dealerships and going to a third on Wednesday of next week. One dealer balanced the tires -- no difference in vibration and the second dealer told me all f150's had been doing that since 2007. If that were true, no one who test drove one would buy it. Like you I'm begging for help. I love the appearance of the truck.

I just got my 2007 5.4 lariat 36,700 fixed. vibration 50-70 mph. Helfman Ford Stafford,Tx. It took them 5wks but they fixed it. They replaced the torque converter, religned the drive shaft put in a new ring and pinion gear and rebuilt the rear end. The final fix came when they called in an engineer from Ford to come look at it. He found a piece in the transmission that was missing an internal balancer. Now it works great. buzz me and I can give you more details. They vibration is very stressful. I love the truck now best driving truck out there.

My dealer replaced the torque converter and I haven't had any problems since. This is the link that others replied to that were having the same problems. Guys were talking about the dealers not knowing what was wrong and basically saying anything. its probably the torque converter. good luck!
