Question 1998 F150 4x4 radiator leaks

Hello All: my 98 4.6 heater core failed last November 2006. 3 days ago I find a coolant leak on the lower passenger side of the radiator. No doubt this is where the leak is but I cannot see the bottom of the radiator. Is there a fitting in this area that could leak or is this a common problem? I am the second owner with a 120k on the truck. I have driven the truck 7 years pretty much trouble free. How do I remove radiator? Is this the best option?

That is the side that the petcock to drain the radiator is likely on.
While this part can leak, it may not be that simple. You may have to
crawl under the truck and get a better look. You should be able to see
where the leak starts from where the green trail begins.

You could try some stop-leak but that is only a temporary fix.
You should be able to find a new radiator for about $150 to $200.
Rockauto.com or lmctruck.com are 2 good places to look, but you can
also check the prices at the local Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts or Pep-Boys stores.

Good luck!
