All I use is Rain-X and maintain it with Rain-X glass cleaner with rain repellent. All my windows on my truck bead water like crazy, much easier to clean especially bugs. Never tried any of the expensive brands and to be honest with you, I really don't see the need to buy any of them.

you might be right but considering you've never tried any of them, not sure thats a fair comparison. I have read reviews in other places where people have tried the others and they have noticed much longer frequency between applications....

I applied Rain-X on all of my windows probably 2 years or more and have not applied it since. So, IMO I really don't see the benefit of going out and buying a more "expensive brand" to see if it works any better than what I been doing the last couple of years. I'm not saying do what I do but the method that I use works for me and guess what.....it didn't cost me $40 or more and I can go to my local auto parts store and pick both items I use to make water fly off of my windows.

I highly doubt Rain-X would've have last 2 + years on it's on but like I said I maintain it with their glass cleaner which has rain repellent in it. The more expensive brands may last longer on their own (and I'm sure they) but I just can't bring myself to spend that much money on a "glass coating".

Aquapel is around $10 and last for 6 months. I've had it last over a year on some applications.

I used rain x on my old cj7 1985 when the wipers rusted out. It worked amazing in any weather but heavy wet snow. I think the reason rain x worked so well in this application is the aerodynamic shape of the jeep. It’s a square, thus wind hits it and blows the water off,

My ex wife company made product rain away.
Easier to use than rain x because not nearly as streaky.
have about a quart left since she used to bring it to me in bulk containers. About 5 more years worth than I’m trying aquapell
