Default This Weekend's Project - Re-painted F150

A friend of mine had his 2001-ish Ford F150 repainted about 3 months ago. He's the original owner of the truck.

I'll be detailing it this weekend. The plan of attach is a one-step polish via Rupes and new Lake Country HD pads (stay tuned ). The LSP will be Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 since he's looking for permanent paint protection.

It doesn't look that bad until you take a closer look....

The entire truck has traces of sanding marks, pig tails, swirl marks, and light water spots. The actual quality of the paint job looks great. The finishing work is where it obviously went down hill, which is often the case at a body shop.

It's going to be a busy weekend!

Stay tuned for a complete write up next week. :dblthumb2:
