Smile Tire Shine/ Rims

Just a little tip...that most might already know. I bought a product called Black Magic. It is a tire shine that makes your tires like brand new. I love it and am now addicted to having my tires/wheel look perfect. You just spray a little on and use a sponge or rag to spread it around and it looks like you just rolled off the lot of a car dealership. It normally lasts a while depending on the weather

For my rims I use a product called Rim Juice...It has been working well so far but I was curious if anyone had heard anything negative about it, or if there is a reason I should not be using it.

Dunno about Rim Juice ( haha! SOO much I could say about that but I'll refrain. This time.... ) but I've been using Black Magic for my tires for years and really like it. I prefer the foamy stuff but that's just cause I like seeing it dry and turn black and sweet looking. :-)

ive always bought whatever was cheapest and instead of spraying it directly on the tire, spray it on a foam applicator then wip it on the. that way, you get a nice even coat on the tire and its not too much to where it slings off on you bed while your going down the road. just a little tip for next time

Another touch that I have used. I don't buy new cars, but did once. After I got it home, I washed the under side, and then used high gloss clear coat on the underside. 10 yrs later with all the mag chloride salt etc they use here, it still shines with no effort. Hit it with the hose and the wheelwells etc look good. I have done this for my sister's car and mom's car also.

Sounds good but Armor-All Extreme Tire Shine also works to perfection, just do not get it on any surface that extremely slipperiness would be harmful. Also for wheels, an excellent cleaner is Armor-All Wheel Cleaner, works amazing for my chrome wheels.

Default simple but genius

Since we are on the topic I used the top of a storage tub and cut out a circle. I hold this circle of plastic up to cover the rim when armoralling my tires. I poked a hole in the center and made a rope handle. Not perfect but eliminates overspray on the rims which collects dust.

Absolutely nothing beats Hyperdressing for the tires. I have tried many products and either the shine doesn't last or there's too much sling. Hyperdressing is a water based product that you can adjust form high gloss to a matte finish. Nothing, I mean nothing beats the shine it gives and absolutely no sling.

Great minds think alike! I cut a piece of cardboard in a circle the same size as my wheels. Then I attached a small, cheap drawer pull in the center to hold on to. Works great at keeping the tire spray off the wheels and it has lasted for about 4 years now. Looks like it will go another 10!

how does the drawer pull in the center to hold it work? How do you tie it
