These are the only three products I have used on my truck since I bought it new two years ago. I use the "Wash and Wax Anywhere" like spray detailer, it is an amazing product.

Actually, I've used the Turtle Wax BLACK products numerous times.

there are actually FOUR different products in that line.

Spray Wax, Spray Detailer, A thicker black wax, and a Pre-wax cleaner..

Which specifically were you using?

ironically, before I even opened up this thread, I was using it on my dark color truck.

I've never experienced any of the condition the OP described in the first post.

Normally I do use meguairs quick detailer, but I thought I would give the turtle way black spray detailer a try.

OP, did you buy the BLACK BOX KIT? If so, are you using the bottles in the NUMBERED ORDER? Using them out of order could perhaps make the messy application you are speaking of.

Which version are you using? I've been researching them. I ordered "speed wipe" today. I hope it works well.

I have been having great results with a little mixture (passed down from a wise alchemist).

I call it "Merlin's Magic Elixir".

10:1 Carpro Reload / 10:1 Carpro ECH2o / CarPro 500ml Empty Spray Bottle and a CarPro 2 Face (No Lint) 16" x 16" towel

The bottle fits perfect in a cup holder. I carry it in my truck with the double sided towel.

I've been using Meguiar's for years but recently decided to try some stuff from Chemical Guys on my new car. I used their Black Light polish followed by their Butter Wet wax. Both products applied and were removed incredibly well. I fact, I forgot I had waxed the door jams/sills (first car I've ever done this too) and a couple days later, the dried wax wiped right off. I also bought and am using their spray detailer, (Extreme Slick Synthetic Detailer) and it's great, super shine and it smells so good, I want to spray it in my mouth like Binaca

I use some ONR (Optimum No Rinse) and some distilled water in a spray bottle. Works great on my Lithium Gray F150 and my wife's white Outback.

I've used both Meg's products extensively and like them both. The Ultimate seems a bit better tho.

I use the Eagle One Wipe and Shine Detailer as well and it seems to wipe easier with less residue.

The Eagle One Nano Wax Spray is the best spray wax I've seen. Its a great product. With that said, I am not an eagle one fan and these are the only two products of theirs that I like.
