I have never used a sealer or anything. I have been wanting to try and use the Collinite 845 on my next wax. I normally just use a quick spray wax weekly on my truck.

How long have you been using it?
I have only been using it since I bought the truck new 3 months ago and it still looks and works just like it did when I put it on. More time will tell a bigger picture no doubt put so far so good, I really like it and it is not expensive.

I attend alot of car shows and some of the guys use the sealants and swear by them, they also win trophies for best paint.

On the other hand I use Mother's wax products on my vehicles especially my SRT, and get the same results. Not sure the extra expense is worth it for myself, but again my friend swears by it.

This is my 2009 SRT and 2015 KR with a regular Mother's wax job.

This coating has the most protection of any coating on the market. You can not apply this yourself. Modesta is very particular about the shops that can apply this. It is a lot of work and if done wrong the paint will look wavy.
The reason I went this route is I plan on keeping this truck for awhile and Modesta has a 10 year life.

Here is the truck when it came home after the work was done

Now I had Xpel PPF on the entire front end. With the Modesta and the paint protection film I'm set for the long haul.

The truck get used like a truck
Looks real good. How much did it cost ?

Know the owner of CILAJET. Stuff is amazing. Sister had her Mercedes done 3 years ago, lives on the coast in Long Beach, rain still beads up, never been waxed since. Had
my truck done in Nov. wash every other weekend. Still looks perfect.

I have ceramic pro on my black 2018, only had both for about 3 weeks but so far I am impressed. Day 3 a huge bug splat, I pulled a bottle of water out and dumped it over it and away it went. Then last weekend the wind shifted over night, I was smoking a brisket. The truck was filthy sprayed it with the foam cannon and rinsed and was clean and shiny again.
