It was an Optimum weekend

I use the Optimum No Rinse Car Wash + Wax. Works pretty good since I hate washing and waxing vehicles.
Pledge was my go to when detailing my motorcycles going back to the 1970's.

nicely done!
that blue jean is as crisp as the sky behind it
I just picked up a new 2018 race red supercab, still formulating initial detail approach, good info!
wondering if the dawn should be used on such a new vehicle, but it has been sitting on the lot for some time.(That's why I bought it! $$.) lol
and that's not the truck in my avatar-that's the 2011 I just sold.

Mine was almost 2 years old and I wasn't sure what wax the previous owner had used. Some people recommend against dawn but if you're trying to cut through old wax it helps. I don't think it hurts anything as long as you don't use it often. If yours is new you might not need any paint correction but I bet it does need some clay bar or ironX. Post up some pics when you're done!
