I read chemical guys have a " new car" and " leather" set that smell good but mixed reviews on length of time they last.

Just looking for some feedback. Don't want the ones that go in air vents. Want something I can throw under the seat or a spray.
Never understood why something that smells good can only last so long but if I were to throw a dead cat behind my seat the truck would smell bad forever.

How is the Zep Commercial Smoke Odor Eliminator working out with longevity?

Laugh all you want and poke fun all you want but....

Bath and Body Works. My wife buys all the handsoap for the house there and always has a ton of coupons. She tipped me off to their car scentportables. They clip on the visor and last for a couple of months. They are small and cheap and they have a lot of different scents.
And no they are not all flowers and linen type scents. Check it out.

My wife has been buying me those things for years! We use them in all of our vehicles.

I've been using California Scent since high school. I'm a fan of New Car, Vanilla, and Cherry.

I have a bottle of Chemical Guys New Car Smell on order, so we'll see how that works. The previous owner of my truck definitely had a dog going off of the very pervasive wet-dog smell in the cabin. He had air fresheners in there, and they did a good job masking the odor. But once I threw them out, the wet dog smell came right back in full force. I'll probably need something to correct/eliminate the smell in the cabin rather than something that simply masks it.

It works good. I have been using it for about 6 months now. The only complaints are it does only last a few days, it is very strong at first, the spray nozzle leaks and drips, and also it seems like I now have to shake the bottle or the scent is no nearly as strong. I think some of the chemicals in it may separate while sitting unused.

Have you tried Ozium? Does a good job of getting rid of smells permanently.

I have not, I'll have to give it a shot. Thanks for the recommendation!

I have a small cloth bag, that I pour in coffee beans about every 4 months that I toss up on the cut out of my dash in my truck. Hard to beat the smell of coffee, and last a long time.
