they are scratched on the surface all to hell 1 I have a DA polisher and was wondering with some good compound polish or scratch x are they salvageable? are they clear coated??

I would imagine they are clearcoated. Have you used any wheel cleaner or household cleaner on them? Some cleaners are very acidic and will etch clearcoated wheels.

If the clear is scratched through you're probably not going to buff that out. Could strip the rest of the clear and re-coat.
