Default IRON-X and PVD wheels

I am do stranger to detailing vehicles, however I have no experience with using Iron-x.
Can i use this on my pvd wheels without damaging the finish?
I also read this stuff stinks to high heaven. Can i spray this on the truck panels and wheels outdoors?

thanks

Good question to ask on the Autogeek forum. I am thinking know on the wheel, but the exterior of the truck should be ok. Follow the directions. Yes I heard is smells horrible as well.

yes, you can use it on the pvd wheels, just don't let it dry. it does smell and i would recommend using it outside unless you want to stink up your shop/garage.

Seems these PVD like wheels don't like anything stronger then reg soap as the finish has been known to flake or pit.

Why would you ever use anything other the soap & water?

IronX is designed to remove iron particles that embed in the finish.
This is especially true in wheels...from brake dust etc.

I only use soap and water.

All 8 wheels on my 2 vehicles are pristine and have zero embedded iron particles.
