Turtle Wax ICE
Anyone ever use this stuff?
I used it on my truck (followed the directions) and started on the front right fender. This sh*t left a streaky haze on the finish that I had to go over again with a quick detailer spray. I did the whole truck and got the same result all the way around. Just to be sure, I used it on my wifes car as well and the same thing. STREAKS!!
Anyone else have this problem?

It is for the paint. I've used it and it always does leave streaks. It's marketed as easy to remove but I had to use detail spray afterward as well. After that it does look great, but in my opinion, not worth the trouble. I'll find something else. You are not alone........

i've actually been using it for a while, and only because i found that unlike most detail sprays, it DOESN'T streak. well, at least for me anyways. Although, i always keep a good coat of wax on my truck, and wash it regularly. The ICE is used as an in between "touch up," say a nice bird dump, a bug, or maybe i couldn't avoid some a@@hole's sprinklers that were making sure 3 lanes of traffic were kept green and watered while the grass turns brown, and right after washing the truck, of course. LOL
So it's the ICE detailing spray you guys had trouble with? Don't they make ICE wax also, is that what gave you the problems? just curious. I never previously cared for anything that said "turtle wax" on it but this crap seems ok.

I saw the wax but decided to get the clear liquid that comes in the same bottle as the wax but it isn't a spray. It comes with a foam applicator.

I got the same kit from target when I got my 08 f150.
I found you need to let the wax dry well before you wipe it off and not do it real heavy a little goes a long way.
after I waxed I used the detaispray and a deeper shine. It seams to work well enough. I have had several bird presents left on my truck and then when the rain hit it it just washed off with out me doing anything.
The best thing about the wax is that it doesn't leave any white residue if you get it on the plastic.
I really like the intear cleaner/ protector. it doesn't leave streaks on the glass or clear plastic but you have to make sure you apply an even coat.
The glass cleaner is good if you do not let any of ti dry. If even the little bit dryers you will get smudges. I will not be buying this any more.
