Tomorrow I'm doing my first full detail on my 06 that I just bought last saturday. I will do a before/after on each product I use so that you can see the effects they have. I will be doing a wash, claybar, wax, using ICE (on some places), and then just some interior cleaning as well.
Check back tomorrow night for the full detailing of pictures.

Before:
Wash + Claybar (Makes the biggest difference)
After ICE:
Before:
The truck was obviously well taken care of, however minor cleanliness imperfections can be noticed such as a lack of vivid reflections that you typically get with a black truck.
Wash + Claybar:
This makes the biggest difference as it really helps to clean off the paint and give you a fresh starting point. Ordinarily I would take this opportunity to apply a good cleaner wax however life doesn't always let you work your day out as planned (hence the delay in posting these pictures). The Claybar helped to even out the surface of the minor dirt that gets embedded into the paint. This helps to make the reflections more clear, but not quite where I want them to be.
Turtle Wax ICE:
Even without a good recent coat of wax the reflections, especially in person, are noticeably more vivid than before. This also helps to bring out some of the life in your 4x4 decal as well as the black plastic all over the vehicle. Usually, ICE doesn't add much reflection if you have recently waxed the truck which I think is the case for me. The prior owner appeared to be pretty good about keeping it clean and so I'm assuming it was waxed not too long ago.

Inaugural TOTM
I wish I had a garage big enough where I could detail my truck, lucky.
The bedrail shot, are you showing a with ice/without ice comparison or was the entire bedrail treated with ice before the shot? Reason I ask is there is a noticeable difference in the color. Need to pull it back out into the sun and get some shots, that will really show off your hard work. A dark truck in a dark place will look good most of the time no matter what you've done to her.
How long did you spend on her?

Bedrail shot is also a side by side comparison.
Yeah, I wanted to get them done outside with a similar angle sunlight but I couldn't because life popped up and made me drive somewhere in the malibu... oh well. Next time I detail it later this week I'll do a better job on the pictures. I'll also have enough time this week to do my cleaner wax properly.
